Staying at Auto-Bar was a thoughtful choice during our Camino journey. We enjoyed two private rooms that provided a welcome retreat after a long day, especially when the rain chose to join us. The family running the hotel genuinely cares about their guests; you can sense the effort they put into maintaining cleanliness and ensuring everyone is satisfied. While the location is convenient for pilgrims, the hotel leans more towards functionality than luxury. The free Wi-Fi worked well in the common areas, and the flat-screen TVs provided some downtime entertainment, but don't expect grand amenities. The highlight, however, was the restaurant downstairs. For €13, the pilgrim menu included a fantastic white bean stew that left a lasting impression. With friendly service from both waitstaff and the owner, it felt like a home-cooked meal. If you're looking for a practical, budget-friendly base that offers essential comforts, Auto-Bar strikes a good balance. It proves that value doesn’t have to compromise quality.
